VR/AR UNITY ENGINEER

  1. JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re hiring a VR/AR Unity Engineer to build practical immersive applications using Unity. You’ll develop VR/AR experiences that run in production, integrate XR devices/SDKs, and deliver smooth, stable applications for real users.

You’ll work on real systems that run in production - integrated with internal services, databases, and business operations.

  • Develop VR/AR applications in Unity for interactive experiences, training, simulation, and visualization.
  • Implement XR interactions and user experiences: ray/grab, object manipulation, locomotion, spatial UI, and in-world tools.
  • Integrate XR SDKs/devices (HMDs, controllers, tracking) and ensure stable runtime performance and user experience.
  • Build and maintain multiplayer / networked features (real-time sync, rooms/sessions, shared interactions) as required.
  • Optimize performance and stability (FPS, memory, loading time) using engine profiling tools and best practices.
  • Deliver deployable builds (PCVR / standalone VR / mobile AR as required), support testing, bug fixing, and iterative improvements.
  • Collaborate with designers/engineers to convert requirements into prototypes and production-ready features.

 

  1. REQUIREMENT (MUST HAVE)
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT or a related field.
  • Preferred graduates from top universities (e.g., University of Technology, National Universities).
  • Must understand English technical documentation.
  • Experience in application development using Unity and C#.
  • Experience in XR/VR development on devices such as Meta Quest, HoloLens, or other headsets.
  • Experience in multiplayer / network feature development.

 

  1. NICE TO HAVE (PREFERRED SKILLS)
  • Experience using Photon.
  • Experience building and managing Asset Bundles.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Experience with Cesium for Unity or handling geospatial data.
  • Comfortable with team-based Git workflows.
  • Experience creating models using Blender.
  • Experience with Generative AI / LLMs (GPT, Gemini, …) is an advantage.

  • Working address: Ground floor, Anna Building, Quang Trung Software City, Trung My Tay Ward, HCMC, Vietnam
  • Holiday: Sat, Sun, National holidays
  • Working Hour: 8:00 - 17:00 (Luch time: 12:00 – 13:00)
  • Salary: Negotiate and depend on candidate’s ability
